The GlassCerax Bullet Proof Body Armor Plate is a lightweight, monolithic ceramic plate, designed to provide Level III and Level III+ protection, due to the combination of Silica Alumina, Carbon, and Kevlar/Twaron coating.
The GlassCerax Bullet Proof Body Armour Plates are tested per NIJ0101.04 Level III and qualified to provide protection against multiple hits of 9 mm, 5.56 mm ball and AP, and 7.62 mm ball and PS munitions. test reports proves that a 2.350 kg GlassCerax plate is stopping successfully a Level III+ threat.
The test results of the GlassCerax Body Armour Plates show a maximum Trauma Depth of 35 mm of the plate backside, with an average of only 19 mm. The maximum allowed by the specs is 44 mm.
